EdwinStreetNurseryStaff at Edwin Street Nursery are delighted with the outcome of their recent Ofsted inspection.

After being open less than a term, the inspector’s comments celebrated the high quality of the town’s latest nursery provision.

It was  judged to be “good” and stated that “Children make good progress in this welcoming environment, supported by staff who have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of how children learn and develop.”

Nursery manager and deputy head teacher of Amble First School, Louise Brown, commented “The success of Edwin Street Nursery is down to the hard work and commitment of the Early Years team, backed up by the support and dedication of the whole staff team at Amble First School.

“We are all delighted and look forward to going from strength to strength!”
