New face in Amble
Hello, my name is Julian Whitley. I have recently started work as a Neighbourhood Liaison Officer for Homes for Northumberland. Homes for Northumberland manages Council housing in the former Blyth Valley Housing and Alnwick District Council areas.
You will see me out and about on the streets of Amble, Warkworth, Hauxley, North Broomhill and Shilbottle working with communities and partners to improve the quality of life of those living in and around the properties we manage.
My aim, in line with the objectives of Homes for Northumberland, is to make every neighbourhood safe and clean, to create and sustain better homes, services and communities. I have already introduced myself to the local community and have been struck by what a lovely area I am working in. I am also thrilled by the friendly welcome I have received from all the people I have met.
I am keen to listen to any issues you have relating to the areas where Homes for Northumberland have properties and I will do whatever I can to help. I am also keen to meet up with any other agencies working in the area.
I am currently based at The Old Post Office on Clayport Street in Alnwick but will soon be moving to the Customer Information Centre, Greenwell Lane, Alnwick.
