(Slideshow) The Prince of Wales visited the Pride of Northumbria shop in Queen Street on July 23rd, where he met staff and volunteers. He was accompanied by Her Grace the Duchess of Northumberland and Julia Aston Director of Amble Development Trust.

Seven year old Chloe Gerrard presented the Prince with a jar of  jam created by Pride of Northumbria’s Elaine Chaplin especially for the Jubilee. Chloe goes to St Cuthbert’s school and she won the competition to come up with a name for the jam, which she entitled  “Royal Summer Jampaigne”.

Afterwards, His Royal Highness met artists and craftspeople who exhibit in the gallery space. The Prince then left the shop and walked to the Town Square where he met volunteers and young people.
