Result from yesterday’s (23 June) Amble West By Election:

Kate Morrison,  Lib/Dem  104.

Sam Palin, Cons  300.

Turnout was 25.7%.

So Sam Palin is the new member for Amble West.

The 2 vacancies for the Central ward have today been re-advertised and nominations are requested for 1^st July with the by election expected to take place on 28^th July.
