Getting somebody to do the job
A Register has been set up by Trading Standards to help residents find home improvement trades people.
Residents can be reassured that the traders have undergone a number of checks by Trading Standards. They are committed to providing a high level of customer service and compliance with consumer protection legislation.
Traders who are members of the scheme agree to comply with consumer protection legislation, provide a high level of customer service and comply with a Code of Practice. If traders become members it shows customers that they have pledged to provide a high standard of satisfaction.
