Remembrance Day: Childrens’ Service
Youngsters from Amble First School, Amble Links First School and Brambles took part in a Remembrance Day service in the Town Square today (Armistice Day).
The service was led by Rev Velda Nicholson, David Shoemaker (Royal National Police), together with Peter Proctor Cannon, Henry Place (trumpeter) and Kevin Wright ( all 315- 19th Kings Royal Hussars.)

Many members of the public also joined in the two minutes silence and watched the children place their hand-made wreaths on the clock tower memorial.
