Joanne wins at Care Awards ceremony

Joanne Hodge, registered manager of the Grange Nursing Home in Warkworth was nominated by her work colleagues and was one of five runner-ups who attended the 2010 Great North East Care Awards ceremony which took place in November at the Marriott Hotel Newcastle.
Keith Chegwin presented the trophy and announced the overall winner. Joanne was delighted to hear her name announced as the North East Registered Manager.
Joanne says “Our ethos is to ensure all clients are unique, we offer high standards of personal care, promoting physical, psychological, emotional and spiritual needs. It is important to communicate with clients, their families and staff, listening to preferences and needs and maintaining confidentiality.”
Joanne is a local girl who has grown up in Amble. “All the hard work has been worth it!”
