Barclays to close in November
Barclays Bank has announced that it will be closing its Queen Street branch on 3 November.
But Barclays customers can be reassured that they don’t have to leave town to conduct their banking business.
Postmaster Bryan Hewson told The Ambler: “All business and personal banking for Barclays can be done at the Queen Street Post Office.”
And as they are open 9am – 6pm six days per week, that’s better than the bank offered for many years.
