Local tattooists raise £800 for victims of Manchester bombing
An Amble tattoo parlour decided to help victims of the Manchester bomb attack, by donating all profits from the famous bee design, to charity.
The generous gesture took place at the beginning of June, when Mark Gray and Martin Brooks from Grayscale Tattoo Studio on Wellwood Street, offered customers a tattoo of the Manchester bee for £40. The charity tattoo offer took place on 8 June, and all profits will be donated to the Manchester Tattoo Appeal, which was set up in the aftermath of the bomb attack in May.
The Manchester Tattoo crowdfunded campaign has so far raised almost £345,000 and was set up to help the families and victims of the terror attack at the Manchester Arena .

The final total raised was £800.
Mark Gray told The Ambler: “I feel like we all need to do our bit and stand together united. Any help the victims need should be provided.”
