Leanne celebrates 30 years of business in Amble
It was a glittering evening at Leanne’s, celebrating thirty years of success at the boutique on Amble’s award winning high street.
The Prosecco corks popped as the guests tried on all the latest styles on offer for the party season. The recently added range of shoes for adults and children were a super success with many styles completely selling out at the event!
Queues formed for the check out; one customer chose a glittering cocktail dress to wear on the red carpet at a film premier in London and another had selected on-trend sparkling beanie hats complete with mink pompoms.
As ever, the scented candles, fragranced bath bombs and the fully blinged-up accessories proved to be hugely popular as stocking fillers. Everyone was treated to a gift bag as a token of appreciation from Karen for their loyalty and valued custom.
Following her love of fashion and flair for design, Karen Athey opened the boutique in 1986 and named it after her then baby daughter, Leanne.
Today, the business has developed into a truly family affair; Leanne now works in the boutique alongside her mother and now her grandson, Drew, helps out too!
Karen’s aim is to give the customers the latest seasonal fashions and always offer great value. Inspired by the glossy magazines, she buys the stock on her weekly trips to the Manchester showrooms where she selects from latest collections. There’s also a bespoke service for those requesting a hat or clutch bag to for that special occasion.
Over the years Leanne’s has become part and parcel of the Amble community and her customers have become firm friends. Inside there’s always a warm welcome on offer and plenty of fashion advice, if required.
One loyal customer has been going to Leanne’s since her first day of opening in 1986 and says, ‘It is a nice shop with top fashion.’
Pop in this and be spoilt by this unique mix of fabulous fashions, handpicked accessories and a dazzling array of sweet-smelling gifts.
