Puffin Festival dates announced
This year’s Puffin Festival will take place on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 May. There will be the usual mix of family fun and live entertainment, with activities on the Little Shore, Braid and Town Square. We’ll have arts, crafts and food stalls, music, watersports and beach activities, plus the wonderful Puffins live from Coquet Island. There will be a dog show, art exhibitions, wildlife talks, guided walks and representatives from local wildlife and environmental groups.

Last year’s Landscape Artist of the Year competition was such a success, Dovecote Street Arts are running it again – with the wonderful support of Radcliffes Lodge and The Old Boat House who are providing the prizes. The Events Committee are always looking for volunteers to help put up and take down gazebos, and to move equipment at the beginning and end of both days. If you could spare a couple of hours each day to help, it would be gratefully received.
