How to access care at Coquet Medical Group
At Coquet Medical Group, there are a number of ways you can access care and complete tasks with our practice.
Anima
For all medical and admin requests, patients can submit an Anima. Anima is an online triage and consultation system.
When you submit an Anima, it is sent to our team who will triage your request and assign it to a member of our team. By using Anima, your requests will be clear to understand at first glance using key information given by you.
This means our team will be able to quickly assess the most appropriate service or clinician to meet your needs.
To submit a request, access Anima using your NHS Login and complete the form. Anima can be found at patients.animahealth.com/signIn
If you can’t use Anima, call our reception team (01670 760 229) or visit the surgery in person and our team will help.

Prescriptions
Coquet Medical Group patients can order repeat prescriptions through the NHS app. Repeat prescriptions can also be ordered by calling our repeat prescription order line on 01670 570 162 and leaving a voicemail with your name, date of birth, address, and requested items. This can also be done online via the link on our website’s ‘prescriptions’ page. A member of our team will action your request and get back to you if needed.
Test and results
You can access information about your tests and results on the NHS app. If you do not use the app, you can also submit an Anima request. We will often ask people to arrange a telephone consultation if we feel the result needs explaining – asking you to call does not mean there is anything seriously wrong. Alternatively, the doctor may write to you about the results.
Please note that results usually take at least seven working days to be returned from the laboratory.
