Lifeboat Day raised thousands for Amble RNLI
A grand total of £8406 was raised for Amble RNLI at this year’s Lifeboat Day. The event was held a week earlier than usual because of the tides.

- Amble RNLI crew
- Inshore lifeboat
Organisers thanked everyone who took part, including ITV weatherman Ross Hutchinson (pictured top right) who opened the event, and all those who helped make the day such a success. Lifeboats from Blyth and Newbiggin joined the Amble RNLI crew in a flotilla making an impressive sight as they sailed into the harbour.
