Celebrity chef is mad on Sandy’s jam
Adding yet another string to her bow, Amble’s Mad Jam Woman will feature in an episode of the new series of James Martin’s Saturday Morning show.

Sandy Higson, aka the Mad Jam Woman told the Ambler how she first learned the celebrity chef was interested in her award winning preserves.
“I got an email from James Martin’s production company saying they’d heard about my recent marmalade awards. They asked if I’d like James to use some of my products in his new series.
“It took me about two seconds to make that decision!” laughed Sandy.

Sandy then agreed to be recorded for the episode via Zoom, while James was being filmed by a cameraman in his kitchen.
“It was a bit nerve racking waiting to join the chat, but James was very friendly and easy to talk to. He used my strawberry jam in a swiss roll and a Strawberry Charlotte Royale”
Two other Michelin starred chefs, Nathan Outlaw and Tommy Banks also tried some of Sandy’s preserves and gave her the thumbs up.
“I had some amazing comments, and they really loved my D-Day marmalade and my Ars’n Fire relish.”
