New MP learns about the recent history of Amble
North Northumberland’s new MP called in to see Amble Development Trust’s exhibition and learned first hand about the work of the Trust.
David Smith viewed the exhibition of 30 years of Amble Development Trust’s work, in one of his first constituency visits after becoming the MP for North Northumberland in the July General Election.
David told The Ambler “I was delighted to spend time with the Amble Development Trust team to find out more about the fantastic work that they’ve done to support the flourishing of Amble over the last 30 years. The projects that ADT has delivered – from coastal art walks to affordable housing to the Ambler itself – make a huge difference to the social and economic fabric of the town.”
Julia Aston, Director of Amble Development Trust said, “It was lovely to meet our new MP when he came to see the exhibition. He seemed genuinely interested in the work of the Development Trust, and we look forward to working with him in the future.”
The exhibition of 30 years of Amble Development Trust’s work can be seen upstairs in Fourways 2 and is open to the public 9am-5pm weekdays until 6 August.
