Brambles celebrates 20 years of nursery provision

The weather was great, and it was lovely to see so many familiar faces; there were lots of, ‘Eeeeee hello, lovely to see you!’ at our 20th anniversary celebration.
Everyone enjoyed the burgers/hotdogs and chips from the Coquet food van. There was an ice cream van, face painting, tombola and lots of lovely activities for the parents to engage in with their children, decorating plant pots in which they had planted seeds, and so much more.
It was so lovely seeing families relaxing on the grass, watching their children playing in our stream. It was also lovely to have the Coastguard with us giving out packs on water safety to the children.
We had a great turn out, and lots of staff from when we first opened came to help us celebrate our 20 years and to reminisce. It was wonderful to have parents here we cared for when they were children, and now we are caring for their children. Such a privilege and pleasure.
I am so very thankful and grateful not only to our wonderful staff team but to everyone that’s supported us over the last 20 years. I’m hoping we are here in Amble for another 20 years.
Brambles provides full day care, Nursery Education, Holiday Club and After School for children from four months to eight and 11 years old, 51 weeks of the year. We’re open Monday 8am-1pm and Tuesday to Friday 8am -6pm.
