Tiger was well looked after at Radcliffes cafe bar

A lost tiger has been reunited with his family after unexpectedly extending his stay in Amble. Tiger and best friend four-year-old Cody Gleadall, together with their family, spent a wonderful holiday in Amble, returning to Huddersfield at the end of half term.

But Tiger seems to have enjoyed himself so much, he decided to stay a little longer. So when staff at Radcliffes café bar found Tiger all on his own they put out a call on social media to find his owner.

Happily, a couple of days later staff received a phone call from the Gleadall family who were very relieved to hear he had been rescued. And in the meantime, Tiger enjoyed a lot of hospitality at Radcliffes, and made himself at home.

On their twitter page, Radcliffes café bar owner Mark Aberdeen said: Tiger loved his extended holiday staying at Radcliffe’s and said that he was so well looked after… “They even made me a little bed! And the homemade shortbread was delicious!” He loved helping in the kitchen, as you can see, checking they had all the right ingredients in the soup!
“We’ll miss you Tiger, but we’re glad you’re soon to be reunited with Cody!”
