Pubs, cinemas and restaurants may be closed but one thing that isn’t closed is the great outdoors and this half-term Northumberland Wildlife Trust is on a mission to keep the region’s school kids entertained.
From Saturday 24th October – Tuesday 3rd November, between 10am – 3pm, the wildlife charity is hosting autumn quiz trails on its Hauxley nature reserve on Druridge Bay and at Northumberlandia in Cramlington.
For just £2.00 per family, the self-led trail offers hours of outdoor escape from the bad news surrounding everybody. All that is needed is a mobile phone to download the PDF of the trail. It is ideally suited for children aged 4 – 8 years of age.
