A FREE COMMUNITY EVENT ARRANGED BY ACKLINGTON CE FIRST SCHOOL
Acklington Church of England First School, in conjunction with the Big Lottery Awards for All will be entering
Hari’s World on Wednesday 8th May in the newly refurbished Acklington Village Hall
“Hari’s World is the exciting and imaginative book series following the adventures of Hari and Friends with subtle safety messages woven into each story. Accompanied by a cast of loveable plush characters to support and bring to life the stories for children.”

In the morning, the children of Acklington CE First School will be joined a partner school to enjoy animated story telling sessions with the books’ authors and the puppets. These will be followed by various workshop activities which embed the safety messages contained in the stories.
In the afternoon, younger children will also have the opportunity to experience Hari’s World in a session arranged especially for local pre-school children from 12.45-1.45pm.
Free return coach transport will be provided with pick-ups from the Community Centre, Widdrington Station at 12.20 and Hadston Children’s Centre at 12.35.
