Easter Nativity……!?
A nativity play at Easter? With the seven-year-olds in Mrs Horrocks’ class all played by adults?
Warkworth Drama Group’s next production,“The Flint Street Nativity,” is a hilarious look at what goes on amongst a group of ‘sweet’ primary school children putting on their first nativity.
Written by ‘Calendar Girls’ author Tim Firth, the play features Gabriel wanting to play Mary, the star grumbling he’s not a proper star like at NASA, Herod continually waving to his mum and dad and … Peter Crouch, the stick insect escaping.
“The Flint Street Nativity” at Warkworth Memorial Hall on April 11, 12 and 13. Book early and enjoy a treat.
Seating will be cabaret style – enjoy drinks from the licensed bar.
