Pride of Northumbria’s Mad Jam Relay
To commemorate Breast Cancer awareness month in October, Pride of Northumbria have produced a special pink jam and are sending one extra special jar on a “Mad Jam Relay”.
The special jar of jam will be handed to Councillor Kate Morrison, (herself a breast cancer survivor) who will then pass it on to another person and hopefully the relay will continue. Participants will be encouraged to post photos of themselves on Pride of Northumbria’s Facebook page or twitter as they pass on the jam.
Created by the Mad Jam Woman, this delicious jam is made from raspberries and apples. 20p from the sale of each jar of Pink Jam will go to the Breast Cancer Campaign charity.
