Western Front Association – July 2012
The WFA’s meeting on 23 July saw Tom McClements relating the story of the ‘Tyneside Irish and the First World War’. There will be no formal meeting in August and the speaker at the 24 September meeting will be Terry Dean with his talk ‘Several Battalion Commanders’.
As always, WFA meetings are held at Alnmouth Ex-Servicemen’s Club and start at 7.30pm for 8.00pm. Visitors and new members will be made most welcome. The suggested minimum donation is £1, to include a light buffet supper.
