This year’s Sports Day at Amble Links was unfortunately cancelled due to the terrible weather. Despite this, the KS1 and KS2 children enjoyed a fun packed afternoon of seated volleyball with a huge balloon! Winning teams celebrated with dancing to very loud music!
The afternoon was kicked off with the children showing off their class and team banners in the presence of Josie Goodfellow and her Olympic Torch. (See picture below) It was planned that the start of Sports Day was going to be a parade led by the torch. Still, great fun was had by all!
