You can’t have missed it, the centenary of the sinking of the Titanic? It had massive TVcoverage. But how about this? An Australian billionaire named Clive Palmer, has commissoned a Chinese Company (CSC Jinlin Shipyard) to build Titanic 2 as an exact replica of the White Star ill-fated ship.
When interviewed he said, ‘It will be the ultimate in comfort, swimming pools, luxury cabins and high class restaurants’.
‘So what will be new? ‘ he was asked. ‘It is going to be designed so it won’t sink’ he replied.
Er….that was kind of the plan with the first one?
