Shaw’s shoes step round the corner

Katherine Bennett, owner of W.L.Shaw which has been in Amble since 1947 was so encouraged by the interest shown in her new shop, she decided that Queen St was a better location for her existing business.
“The shop in Bridge St is to be sold. We will still be offering our specialised service and we look forward to welcoming existing and new customers to our new premises” she said.

Just had a step back in time remembering very happy days when I used to call on your lovely Dad Eric, many happy hours talking football etc.
