Outdoor fun at Brambles
Children at Brambles Childcare Centre in Amble are enjoying their new outdoor environment.
In March this year they received a grant of £19,975 from the local authority, and set about creating three new spaces; a sensory stream for water experiences, poly tunnel for growing and planting and a willow tunnel.
Thanks to Hadley Amos (Amos Agricultural Contractors) for developing the areas and Ruth Thompson who created the willow tunnel. The project has made a huge difference to the children and staff, and has enabled a whole new range of learning opportunities and experiences.
Brambles is having an excellent year; following a good overall Ofsted inspection last month, the outdoor development is another reason for celebration!
