Brambles celebration
To celebrate our new outdoor environment we are holding an open day and summer fair
Saturday 2nd July 12noon – 2pm.
Live music, bouncy castle, pony rides, barbecue, and ice-cream from Spurelli’s
Raffle with £100 cash prize and signed NUFC shirt
Various stalls and activities.

Brides and Bouquets
St. Cuthbert’s church and St. Marks are holding the above event at St. Cuthbert’s Church on Saturday 25th June, Anyone about to get married come along and see what we have on display, meet our vicar who has all the relevant information needed for a Church wedding.
There will be a display of goods, table settings etc. in the Parish Hall, Dovecote Street on the same day.
Flowers – bouquets, buttonholes, table decorations, invitation cards, cake and food. Reception venues, photographers and special vintage cars,
All these essentials can be got locally.
This promises to be a most unusual day, with the main aim to show people that it does not need to cost the massive prices everyone quotes
A beautiful wedding for a special couple on a great day.

Coquet Partnership Extended Services will be offering four weeks of summer holiday activities across Hadston, Amble and Widdrington.

Warkworth and Amble British Legion
The branch in Warkworth is celebrating its 90th year and we hope as many residents as possible will attend our Fundraising Anniversary dinner on
Friday, 24 June, 2011 at 7pm at the Sun Hotel, Warkworth.
Guest speaker: Col. Arthur W Charlton, SaBRE North of England Campaign Director. All profit from the dinner will go to the 90th Anniversary Poppy Appeal.
Tickets cost £12, include a two course meal with coffee.

Traditional Music Festival
Andrew and Margaret Watchorn, from Embleton, are holding a third series of their popular concerts and workshops this summer to raise awareness of the traditional music of north Northumberland.
Concert on Thursday 2 June at 7.30 pm. in Rennington Village Hall. Also on Thursday 14 July at 7.30 pm. in the Methodist Church, Seahouses; Thursday 28 July at 7.30 pm. in Holy Trinity Church, Embleton; Tuesday 9 August at 5.30 pm. in St. Mary’s Church, Holy Island; Thursday 18 August at 7.30 pm. in St. Mary’s Church, Newton; Saturday 27 August at 7.30 pm. in Holy Trinity Church, Embleton. Tickets for all concerts are priced £7.50 (accompanied children under 12 free) and are available at the door.
Workshops must be booked in advance. They take place in the Parish Church Room, Embleton from 2.00 – 4.00 pm on Thursday 2 June and Saturday 27 August. There are also two special workshops for players of Northumbrian Music in the Parish Church Room, Embleton on Saturday 9 July and Thursday 28 July. Free refreshments are available at all the workshops, which cost £8 per session.
