104 and still counting
Connie Mossman celebrated her 104th birthday on Monday, February 7th and again at Oswald Court, before the Bingo began, when she was presented with flowers and chocolates by her co-players.
Mabel Durham, who has organised the bingo sessions at Oswald Court for 25 years said that Connie was her first customer. There are now about 30 regular members who enjoy trips and dinners as well as the bingo, all of which Connie enjoys.
Connie still lives in her own house, organising her life, but she says she is considering moving in with her daughter, Gwenyth, “probably this year”.
