Snow sculpture competition
Many Northumberland schools suffered during last weeks snow. Those that did stay open often had to adapt their timetables or curriculum depending on how many staff managed to make the journey to their school. On Friday 3rd December pupils at Amble Middle School held a snow sculpture competition.
The challenge was for children in each ‘House’ in mixed ages to work together to build a sculpture with the materials provided.
Well done to all the children who took part and worked together to produce some creative and amusing sculptures but congratulations go to the winners ‘Delaval House’ for their ‘Magical Flying Snowman’.
The Judges were impressed not only with their creativity but also the way the team worked together and included children from all four year groups.
